Play the Cosmic Puffin
Flash Photo Review.
![]()
I can honestly say that the Cosmic Puffin festival was a delight to visit. The site, set on the coast with a magnificent sea view, was a rugby club developed into a kids adventure venue. There were hot showers, food canteen, an indoor stage as well as marquees, and acres of green fields to camp on...and the weather was great.
Scores of bands played, the emphasis being on Space Rock and they all donated their fees to charity, which went a long way to creating an atmosphere of good-will and friendliness, which is what good festivals are all about.
I won't go into the details of all the bands here. You can find them on the Cosmic Puffins own web site.
Cosmic Puffin website Sufice to say they were all great, Dream Machine, Bruise, Litmus, House of Thandoy with Mike Howlett from Gong, Shom, Starfighters and the Space Rock comedy duo Trev and Kev all made their mark. Kids were very well catered for and 15 minutes walk along the coast brought you to a village with shop and nice restaurant - A most civilised festival.
We were very lucky to have pro photographer Lynne, of Moonshayde Photography shoot this great photo review for us.
