AT THE HOPE (was the Polar Central), 10 - 12 Queens Road, Brighton

THU 14th September 8.00pm - 12.00pm £5 - £4 concs

Well, here we go again - Our special autumn reopening, featuring the fabulous Grelch. This leaping band of Brighton's electric avant-gard never fail to impress. I always find it difficult to describe their gripping set, a bit Frank Zappa, it's just so original.

The festivities open with Judge Trev, Space Rock veteran from the Hawkwind school, who has realised that his incredibly depressing but original "End of Times" Death/Folk acoustic set goes down much better when peppered with Johny Cash covers!

Monty Oxymoron from the Damned will stun you with his one-man percussion/keyboard extemporisation extravaganza. You've never seen anything like it - guaranteed.

See y'all there.
